Lithosphere

A lithosphere is a part of biosphere which usually consist of all the land mass and beings living on it.
The lithosphere is known as the terrestrial component of the biosphere. For instance, it contains solid landmasses like our continents and islands. The part that does not sustain any life, and therefore, not a part of the biosphere, is its lower mantle and core. All the other parts aside from this support lives, from the smallest bacteria to the large mammals and tall trees, by providing them shelter, and food.
